Privacy Policy

1. The FEQ does its best to Protect Private User Information. It is however important that all users understand the security settings in their account and learn about controlling access to their protected information.
2. What we do to protect your information
   • Secure Servers: The computers your information are stored on are located in a secure data center with restricted access. Backup servers are located at a 3rd party location and all data is encrypted before it leaves the secure server.
   • Firewall: The servers are protected by a firewall that controls which communication traffic is allowed in or out of the server.
   • Encryption: While logged into the system all data sent to and from your computer is encrypted using the same industry standards typically used by the financial sector; namely SSL and/or TLS.
   • Automated Security: The system monitors for unusual behaviour and may either take direct action and/or will notify system administrators
   • Proactive Security: System administrators perform security audits, act on breaches, and perform preventative tasks to help lessen the risks of future security breaches
3. Possible risks of exposing private information
   • Other users whom you have given access to your private information may deliberately or inadvertently share that information with others
   • We cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will not gain access to your private information
   • We cannot guarantee that your private information will not be made publicly available
   • We are not responsible in the case of a breach of security measures
